A lot of things are put on hold at the moment. And I'm really looking forward to a time with a little less stress and a lot more fun stuff. Some things I'll just have to wait out, but in the meantime I'll just have to make some nice plans.

Even though I can hardly wait till summer, I know there are some downsides too. Like all the insects. I guess no one can escape those though, not even gods. At least, if you believe what this amazing animation shows us.

Konokoshop has some of the cutest things! So instead of just one item, I thought I'd show you a whole bunch.

This mug is cuter to store that in is to use. Perhaps odd, but very appealing nonetheless!

I know you usually want to keep mice away from your food, but aren't these salt and pepper shakers adorable?

And the final food-related item: Pocky chopsticks. Such a clever idea!

Amazing Art: Roby Dwi Antono

Today I came across the amazing art of Roby Dwi Antono! It is painted with such skill that it often looks like a picture. Though the surreal scene makes it pretty clear that it can't be. Anyway, it's very dreamlike, full of amazing bunnies and a tad eerie. Just as I like it! Enjoy.

Days That Are Over - Sondre Lerche

Somehow I always expect Spring to come sooner. Each February I tend to think it's almost March, and in my book March equals Spring. Usually it only gets warm in April or even May though. Anyway, I'm done with Winter. Ready for Spring -and life- to begin again.

Spotted

During flu season it's extra important to eat as healthy as you can. You know what they say about an apple a day, right? Anyway, here's a nice collection to remind you of that.

And if you do get sick, at least you can lie on this lovely pillow.

These earrings are so cute! They'd look amazing with a vintage floral dress.

Perhaps a bit Christmassy, but a lovely stamp set nevertheless.

Honestly, I always think baby booties are cute. But these take the cake! Or in this case apple pie perhaps.

This brooch would probably look amazing on everything, but somehow I picture it pinned to a satchel.

This deco tape is so pretty! It looks great like this, but you could also cut it up per fruit.

Lovely Movies: Breakfast with Scot

Seeing the trailer for this movie, it looked like a comedy. Reading the synopsis, it honestly sounded like a bit of a downer. But when I watched it it turned out to be my favorite kind of movie: a bittersweet film with a big silver lining.

I loved the amount of quirky kids in this film. It's so nice to see some unique personalities every once in a while. And despite the fact that the adults weren't too pleased with them, they did learn the important lesson of just taking people as they are, even if they themselves are too afraid to actually be themselves.

Anyway, I highly recommend Breakfast with Scot. It's different and lovely and, well... refreshing. Enjoy!

Another Project Finished

When I visited my favorite yarn shop a little while back, I just fell in love with this stunning yarn. And I'd also had my eye on the pattern for this scarf for a while. Thankfully the two were compatible.

Anyway, I should probably show you a picture of it layed out flat some time, but for now this should do. Perhaps I will post another picture when I'm done with the matching hat I'm planning to make.

Owl Things Considered

When I saw this owl lamp would go on Fab -which is an amazing bargain website for design items- I marked my calendar and waited. Little did I know that it would be €379! Now I had some coupons ready, but no coupon does that kind of magic.

Anyway, the lamp is from Quarch Atelier and, other that the price tag, it's as perfect as can be! You can even take out the little owl to get more light.
Even though you probably can't afford this particular item either, I do encourage you to check out Fab. I bought some lovely items a little while back and I'm sure you'll see some pop up on my blog soon.
