Flamingoing

I definitely stuck with my plan of wearing all my best summer clothes while I still could. In fact, I rocked super fancy dresses on quite ordinary days. This flamingo one being one of my absolute favorites. It's so colorful and elegant!

Dress: Hell Bunny Vixen - Shoes: Merrel - Hair bow: random boutique - Sunglasses: SunglassesShop

This whole get up made me feel like I was away on a holiday. I was in such a good mood that entire day and definitely took full advantage of the last bit of summer. Also, I was very glad I had comfortable shoes to match the outfit!

Anjolee: Future Vintage Treasures

If you're in the market for a pretty necklace, some diamond studs or an anniversary band, I suggest you seriously consider Anjolee. They use high quality, conflict-free diamonds and are even eco-friendly!

I love that Anjolee's designs are so timeless! They are perfect for a modern wardrobe, but -more importantly, I think!- also seamlessly fit into a vintage wardrobe. Just look at these pairs I formed and how they seem made for each other!

Everything is customizable, which means you can choose the carat, quality and even pick between white or yellow gold, or even platinum. So whether you're looking for a true heirloom or a more affordable option, you'll always be able to order your favorite piece from Anjolee.

Visit their website to browse around, get more information and to get a 360 degree look of every item they have!

Owl Things Considered

Anna Bratkova makes beautiful animals that are based on vintage teddy bears. All are made with vintage fabrics. And she even sells the patterns in case you prefer to make your own.

You can choose from all sorts of creatures. From beautiful owls to adorable bunnies to prickly hedgehogs.

And lots of cute teddy bears of course. And most even have little clothes or accessories!

Wishlist

This is without a doubt, one of the prettiest dresses I have ever seen. It's so delicate and elegant and the little cape is the perfect finishing touch. I know it will never be mine, but a girl can dream, right?

If you have a thicker wallet, you can buy this vintage beauty here on Zwzzy. Or if you were looking for a wedding dress, you actually found yourself quite the bargain.

Spotted

Candy canes and peppermints are some of the most Christmassy things in my book. You can't really find them here anymore, but whenever I see one online, I always feel very festive.

This lipbutter definitely screams candy cane. Bet it smells great too! And to top things off, it's all-natural.

These rare vintage candle holders are amazing! Too bad I can't afford them.

One of the funniest Christmas items I've ever seen. Would make a great gift too.

I'll be spending my Christmas bundled up in my thickest sweater, but if you live in a warmer part of the world you might want to consider wearing this dress.

Can't go wrong with these babies either.

And here is the perfect Christmas snack to accompany a cup of hot chocolate.

Yet again, all-natural. This soap sounds devine! And it looks pretty awesome as well.

I was at once both excited to see this creature and very sad that I couldn't get one as a pet. I'd be more than happy "settling" for a print though!

I could hardly post this collection without adding some candy to it. These are about halfway between candy cane and peppermint.

Spotted

My friend Olga from wassupbrothers is currently Etsy's Featured Seller! If you haven't read the interview yet, you should head on over there and check it out. Anyway, it inspired me to do a spotted all about one of the creatures she makes: the wingless bird, the Kiwi!

Starting with her Fidjii of course.

I've also always loved the illustration on this shirt.

This ring is cute on both sides! I really love the idea of a hidden heart in the palm of your hand.

This pillow is a great way to add a cute animal to a very grown up home.

I love those simple animal necklaces. The ones with bunnies or owls, but this unconventional one is very cool as well.

If you're good with knitting needles you can get a free pattern to make one of these.

As usual, a stamp! I bet this would look great as a hidden surprise on the corner of an envelope.

And this cartoon always makes me feel a little sad, but never fails to make me laugh.
{Don't know the source! If you have it, let me know!}

And last, but not least. Here's a lovely animation:

Wishlist: Vintage Avon Bottles

I'm head over heels with this little thimble perfume bottle. Living a crafty lifestyle, loving vintage looking items and being very much a collecter, this one has caught my eye and won over my heart.

I also think this girl with the kitten is amazing, I suppose it's almost kitchy, but it reminds me very much of those plastic Mary statues I adore as well.

But there are so many amazing vintage Avon bottles, it's crazy! I'm posting a huge collection below, which includes a bunch of owls as well. Enjoy!

Owl Things Considered

Most of my purchases on Etsy have been jewelry and I've always been very happy when I received the item I bought. But Lily's shop Chouettes has to be my absolute favorite. Not only does she have the most gorgeous jewelry, it arrived in such cute boxes and even came with a gift.

Prepare to drool over the following pictures.

One of the things I ordered was this lovely pair of owls:

The boxes now have a special place on my dresser, because they're just too pretty to stash away somewhere. Some of them even have owls stamps on them. Plus they all come with a ribbon or string and a cute tag.

She sells mostly vintage and vintage inspired jewelry. Her color combinations are amazing and most of her designs come in so many lovely colors it's almost too hard to pick just one.

There are plenty of pieces for us owl lovers, but she also has a beautiful matroyshka collection and more types of rhinestones than you could possibly imagine. Lily can also do custom orders. And during checkout you can choose between five kinds of earwires even on non-custom orders.

Last but not least I'd like to show you some of her vintage florals. These would all go so great with a vintage outfit. Most are white with multicolored flowers so they could go with basically anything. But the colored ones are really pretty too.

By now you probably love Chouettes as much as I do. It is just such a great shop all round. Of course all the earrings, rings and necklaces are stunning, but her pictures and banner are amazing too and she has to be one of the sweetest sellers out there.

In case you wanted to take a peek in her shop, and you probably will, keep in mind that she's having a sale from the 3rd of March till St. Patricks day on everything green. Plus I have heard from a reliable source that there will be new items added very soon, including owls!
