Owl Things Considered

Today I'd like to show you something that combines three of my favorite things! Owls, stationery and pretty tins…

I just adore these little sets of memos. Of course, the owl is one of my favorites, but I also love that adorable hedgehog. And I really like how these little notes fold over to create a tiny moving animal. So simple, yet so very clever.

Anyway, there are also tons of birds available, as well as a panda, and -to complete my top 3- this adorable bunny.

You can find the whole collection here on eBay, but there are also a few designs available at this Etsy Shop.

Spotted

During flu season it's extra important to eat as healthy as you can. You know what they say about an apple a day, right? Anyway, here's a nice collection to remind you of that.

And if you do get sick, at least you can lie on this lovely pillow.

These earrings are so cute! They'd look amazing with a vintage floral dress.

Perhaps a bit Christmassy, but a lovely stamp set nevertheless.

Honestly, I always think baby booties are cute. But these take the cake! Or in this case apple pie perhaps.

This brooch would probably look amazing on everything, but somehow I picture it pinned to a satchel.

If you need something to make your chores easier, you might want to consider these dish washing sponges.

This deco tape is so pretty! It looks great like this, but you could also cut it up per fruit.

When licking these envelopes, you'll taste the fruit pictured on the edge. Nice idea, right?

And to end with something that's actually food-related: a lovely multi-tiered bento box.

In the Mail...

A little while ago I got lucky on Lauryn Green's Blog. So this week I received a wonderful little parcel full of lovely items from mi+ed design.

There were some adorable little cards in tiny envelopes. A beautiful calender, with a gorgeous print for each month.

I was also very impressed with these bookmarks, they're printed on cotton and look very durable and flexible.

And to top off this gorgeous collection of goodies, I got three little notebooks as well. All with wonderful illustrations.

If you liked these items as much as I do, I suggest you check out the mi+ed design Etsy store. It is bound to make any stationary lover's heart pound a bit faster. Here's a glimpse of what's currently in stock:

Wishlist

Perhaps this should have been in this post, perhaps it deserves its very own. Either way, I just had to share it with you.

I love it when practical and cute come together! And this heart shaped hole punch has to be the perfect example of that combination. Isn't it neat?!

In the Mail...

When I saw Izzy was giving away a set of Fawnsberg stationary by Studio Primele I was really hoping I'd win. And it turned out I did!

Just look how amazing this correspondance set is. You can really see they put thought into every little detail and deliver the best possible quality too. Everything is perfect, from the writing sheets to the logo to the lining of the box.

The whole line is breathtaking, but this oak motive is my absolute favorite. I'll be sure to save it for some very special letters.

If you want a set of your own or are interested in seeing the other options, visit their website or Etsy.

In the mail...

Some time ago I posted about a giveaway I was lucky enough to win, well...one thing had yet to arrive and it did! The people at Katrina Alana sent me some beautiful spools of baker's twine in every color imaginable.

Because of the delay I even got an extra gift: a beautiful wax seal and a classic red wax stick to get me started. Isn't it wonderful?

If you're a stationary/packaging junkie like me you'll love Katrina Alana.
And you might want to check out the blog as well.
