Flamingoing

I definitely stuck with my plan of wearing all my best summer clothes while I still could. In fact, I rocked super fancy dresses on quite ordinary days. This flamingo one being one of my absolute favorites. It's so colorful and elegant!

Dress: Hell Bunny Vixen - Shoes: Merrel - Hair bow: random boutique - Sunglasses: SunglassesShop

This whole get up made me feel like I was away on a holiday. I was in such a good mood that entire day and definitely took full advantage of the last bit of summer. Also, I was very glad I had comfortable shoes to match the outfit!

Last Call for Sunshine

I was afraid summer was over, but was crossing my fingers for just a bit more. And I got it! This whole week is supposed to be wonderful! The perfect chance to spend time outside and wear all the summer clothes I hadn't yet.

Ring: Six - Purse: H&M - Bracelet: bought on vacation - Skirt+Top: Vera & Lucy @ By Fabrio

Like this colorful set I picked up at this new affordable shop I discovered this summer. It can be worn together or separately. I saw it in the window and had to have it. Love that print! Also, I happened to have the perfect purse for it!

Snow Owl

These two Christmas gifts were given to me by a wonderful friend! She actually knit the scarf(which is super soft) herself. And both items are perfect for an indoor day with this sunny -yet snowfillled- winter weather.

But more importantly, they are both stunning, comfortable and very very cute!

Cheshire Cat 2.0

Ever since my new sweater arrived, I've been walking around with a similar grin. It's just such a wonderful concept and so well executed. It's also incredibly soft and comfortable. And I love those little ears!

Blue Birds

Honestly, I find it hard to resist anything with a Peter Pan collar. But I really couldn't leave the store without this amazing shirt! It's one of the best bird prints I've ever seen. And I adore the color combination as well.

It's way too cold now to wear it as is, but thankfully it also works with a longsleeve. I say it's time to hunt down some winter items with cute collars as well!

Mustard Flowers

For the first twenty years of my life I was never one to wear a lot of yellow. Along came mustard and I was converted.

This t-shirt is in fact my absolute favorite piece of clothing! And I recently scored a skirt that just seems made to go with it.

The ring is the one I reviewed for FloraBeauty last week. And it's perfect for this outfit, don't you agree?

Bright as a Feather

This has to be one of my favorite outfits this summer. It features my new glasses from Firmoo -that I reviewed here-, an amazing cotton/linnen-blend top with lovely feather details -even in the zipper at the back-, as well as a cute little ring I picked up in a sale. And all in this fantastic color!

Teal Appeal

You probably know teal is one of my favorite colors. It's calm, elegant, has just a touch of magic and goes well with all the basic colors too. And I wore lots of it today!

The above necklace was a birthday gift from one of my dearest friends. It only just arrived, but I already love it like I've worn it all my life.

The nails are actually a scented polish, along with a holographic topcoat, which is even more amazing than you can see now.

My "cool" watch. I love that it's so simple.  And some of my favorite sneakers to top it off.

Also, this is how the necklace was wrapped. Isn't it perfect?

What color are you loving in your wardrobe?

Bunnies All Around

I'd been wanting a blouse with a cute collar for ages, so when H&M released them with this fantastic bunny print I was sold in an instance.

I wore it with a matchin long-sleeved shirt, a simple pair of pants and some lovely knee socks.

As a collar is pretty much jewelry already, I kept it simple with accessories and only wore a bunny ring.

And to top it off I used a tiny bit of Scarlett by Cacharel. I love that scent and the bottle, or mostly the huge cap, is so beautiful!

What's your favorite scent right now?

Misty Moments

This is one of my favorite cardigans. It's from Nümph and I love their stuff. Due to their great quality materials and great designs it's always gorgeous, but unfortunately also often budget-exceeding. This was a very lucky online on sale find.

I absolutely love wearing it with the necklace Jill made to look exactly like my cat Misty. Go here to have your custom cat necklace made.

Lastly, here's my moonstone ring. I love moonstone, have always loved it, it even preceeds my love for grey clothing, which turned out to work very well with my love for this gemstone.

Do you have any favorite gemstones? My absolute favorite is probably Labradorite, which is bound to make an appearance on the blog sooner or later too.

Mint Dream

Many years ago I spotted a very cute mint green cape with a white fur collar in a magazine, I went to the store but never found it. Believe it or not, I never managed to forget about it. You can probably imagine my euforia when I found a cardigan like it at River Island! It looks just as cute, but it's way more practical and it was on sale!

Also on sale was this stunning piece from Meluseena (Lisa Falzon's Etsy)! It is one of my all-time favorite illustrations and it looks extra special in this beautiful necklace.

I added this adorable bird ring and then topped it off with purple jeans and colorful sneakers just to balance it out a bit.

It can be tricky in the winter, with the light and all, but I missed doing these outfit posts and... more are definitely in the making!

Lovely latest additions

Lately I've been loving brooches and a little while back I bought some really pretty ones from tevagallery. There was a 2 for 1 deal, so I picked the cat you might remember from this post, and this amazing owl.

Apart from it being stunning it matches really my new autumn wardrobe so well!

A few weeks ago I got 25% discount on everything at H&M and I really did take advantage of that. You will probably see this cardigan again as I adore it. The brown/gray color is so beautiful and it also matches mustard really well, which I always thought was a lovely color but one that's very hard to match and wear in general.

And I recently bought me some high-heeled boots too! I hardly ever walk on heels(except for dance classes), but these seemed nice and sturdy, and completely won me over. I still prefer to walk on sneakers, but as far as heels go these are very walkable. And I love that they're both kick-ass and elegant. I was looking for something like this, so when I not only found them, but found them on sale, I was over the moon.

Have you done any Autumn shopping?

Cherry on Top

This sweater was a gift from a very dear friend and I love it! It is so cute, so comfortable and matches my green pants so well too!

The pants were a lucky find, I went to a festival to see Donavon Frankenreiter and spotted these in a little booth. Somehow when I wear them outside people always talk to me. It turned out to be a real conversation maker.

Remember this necklace from Hannah? It works well with so many outfits, but when I realised it had cherries just like the sweater I just had to wear them together.

Owls of the Nile

My love for owls goes deep and I own lots of different things with them. I mean, I have an owl toothbrush, not kidding! So... now that I'm doing outfit posts you can expect a fair amount of owls.

The moustache ring came from a lovely Dutch store called Zipper, but is also available on Fred Flare.

Also here's the nail polish again! And this time you can actually see how gorgeous the bottle is too!

Summer encore

Honestly I didn't expect the end of September to be so sunny and warm. Yesterday was lovely and I went into town. Which is where I picked up this lovely summer dress at half price.

When I came home the postman had dropped off this amazing brooch! And I noticed it went really well with the dress.

Today was a lovely day as well so I got to wear everything combined:)

And not suprisingly added an owl too.

I had a driving lesson and then enjoyed the weather reading outside. What did you do today?

With Scarves of Red

I didn't really used to do a lot of outfit post, but lately I've been thinking that perhaps I should. Also, I was kinda loving this little ensemble.

I really love weird pants! The shinier the better really. I should some day show you my collection, or I'll just post them like this every once in a while.

The t-shirt is one I'd been eyeing for a while, when I was ordering anyway it suddenly got on sale for 5 bucks and I couldn't resist. Too bad customs thought it appropriate to charge me an extra 20...

The nail polish is the other one I got from Clare. It came in the cutest bottle and works really well! I only needed one coat to get this amazingly bright and flawless nail-do. I was very impressed! Isn't it awesome?
Thanks again Clare!

This has to be...

Isn't this the most beautiful dress you've ever seen? And I am proud to say I'm its owner! When I spotted it on Etsy I knew I had to have it, and now, a little while later, I do.

It came from this amazing shop called Fancy Clothing (or necessityisthemother). It is full of amazing, one of a kind handmade dresses made from vintage, often repurposed materials. And they're all very well made by a lovely lady!

The collar is too pretty to spoil with a necklace, so I figured I needed another accessory and it probably doesn't come as a surprise that I immediately started a little project of my own and made a headband to match!

I can not wait to wear this combination somewhere!
