Song Inspired Treasuries

Something different than your usual music post today. Let me know if you like it, ok? If so I might start doing this more often.

I made two song inspired treasuries today. The idea suddenly came to mind, I was hooked instantly so I made a few.

First one is Her Morning Elegance, which came from the Oren Lavie Song.

Even though the original is from Razorback, I based this treasury on Corinne Bailey Rae's version of Golden Touch.

Treasury Time

While being sick I felt so disconnected from the whole blogosphere as well as Etsy and it took some serious adjusting to get back into it all. But I think I am now officially back!
The orders are coming in again and ideas for blogpost are popping up too.

But I thought I'd start again slowly by posting a little treasury. I always forget how much fun it is to make one.
This one's theme is circles, you can click here for the real and bigger version.

Hoping to see you all again tomorrow.

Treasury Time

Even though I really enjoyed making treasuries, I hadn't made one in a while. And when I finally did I realised I should really do it much more often.

So here's one of many more to come:

Just a Little Update + Announcement

Today was a great day. After working on an order and cleaning the living room, I went to the city center. My mom had this plan to buy a cell phone and I ended up getting one too. It's not as pretty as my current one, but it has a mp3 player, camera and a few other options. And it may or may not have had to do with the fact that it only cost us a little over 2 euros(yes, really 2 euros) since it was a prepaid pack with lots of included prepaid cards. You basically spend the rest of the money on cards you'd be buying anyway. Good deal, right?

Other than that I just made another Treasury, you can view the real deal here.

Now onto the announcement. I will be doing a celebratory giveaway after I've been admitted into art school. Think positive:)
Admissions being next week I think the giveaway will be somewhere within one or two weeks after that. So far it consist of two very cute items, one handmade by yours truly, the other one store bought. I might add a little something later on though.

Lovely Movies

Wicker Park is a really weird story about lost loves and deceit. It's a really fascinating thriller, but it's also nice and slow. Even though the story is different, it reminded me a lot of the movie "Match Point".

What always strikes me as odd is when a character has the same name as one of the actors. Josh Hartnett plays Matthew, but his best friend is played by Matthew Lillard. Isn't that weird? But I guess it fits, since the movie is weird too.

Just a Little Update

This must be my lucky week on Etsy, because I have just made my second treasury of the week.
The theme this time is "Mint Dream" and I chose a collection of dreamy looking items and art all in mint green. Below is a small screen capture, but you can see the real one here.

Book Paper Scissors

No owls today, but I would like to show you a little treasury I made on Etsy. It is inspired by books, scissors and their colors.

It has some cute art in it, but also jewelry (including from my favorite store, Chouettes'), clothing, a bookmark from my shop and a few other goodies. I hope you like it. You can view the bigger version here, where you can also click on the shops and items.

Treasury is such a cool concept. It is hard to get one, because spots only open up occasionally, but today I was lucky for the second time. And I really enjoyed putting it together.
