August Break #11: in the mail

This has been one of the best mail days I've ever had. I received a Pentax(, but I'll do a more elaborate post on that later, as this is not an event I allow to go unnoticed). But also this Turnip Baby I ordered.

The moment I spotted it I knew I had to have one. It's so cute and reminded me a lot of Mark Ryden's work, it has that same vibe that I love so much!

Anyway I'm really excited about it, it is such an original and well made little creature! And "choicestgirl" even sent along a lovely postcard.

Though it was not a very exciting day at first: the weather was bad and I didn't have anything fun planned, today's mail turned it into a pretty amazing one, wouldn't you agree?
