Plans and Goals: August

There's so much I want and need to do, but with little energy I'm finding it hard to focus. So... I thought I'd post a list today of things I have planned. This way you get a little idea of what'll (hopefully) happen on the blog this month. And it might just be the motivation I need to actually do it.

I'm planning to:
  • Set up a nice system so it's easy for me to scan and post pictures from analogue cameras.
  • Finally share some Diana pics.
  • Post about my very exciting photography news.
  • Do a giveaway! Yes, I brought some things back from France to give to a lucky reader.
  • Organize my house, because I am sure it'll help my blogging too.
  • Buy soapstone and get started making little figurines/statues.
  • Finish my current knitting project.
  • Re-do my Etsy pictures.
  • Maybe start painting again.
  • And have some fun:)
As you can see lots of plans, but hopefully I get to do most of them. I'll let you know how it goes.

Just a Little Update

Tomorrow I'll be going to an event I won tickets to. It's at this sort of beach they created in the city, very near to my house actually. The event in and of itself had me excited already, but what I'm most looking forward to is the goodie bag. I heard there will definitely be one and I can't wait to see what's in it. I'll keep you updated;)

P.S. I found another cute item to add to the giveaway, which will be quite soon.

Just a Little Update
This is one of the most fun and most busy weekends I've had in a while. Yesterday the high school reunion, which was pretty good, even though there weren't that many people I had had classes with.
Today was another day of art class, we made a stop-motion animation. I really enjoyed it. I also went to the store where I bought my camera to sort out some issues. Most of my close-up pictures have this weird shade, you might have noticed, so I asked about that. My camera didn't work for too long on a pair of batteries, mostly just a few minutes, so I bought some real strong ones, just in time for my friend who's modelling tomorrow! Yes, I found someone who's willing to do it. If everything works out as I hope they will, I'll officially open my Etsy very soon.
We're also just gonna make a fun day, watch a movie, have dinner, that sort of stuff. We hadn't seen each other in ages cause she's so busy, it should be fun tomorrow.

And I also went to the art supply store again for acrylic paint, I now have these huge jars of primary colors and black, white and skin tone. Also some more ink and the cutest pen to go with it. I'll show you soon.

I'll also take a picture of another owl I crocheted, it's a baby present. It's pretty much the same as the other one, just a little lighter and a little fatter. Another thing I'll show you is a bookmark I made for Etsy, I really like how it turned out and I hope you will too.

>buy some acrylic paint, which I didn't do at the art store, but apparently should've done
>receive the copy of "the to-do list" by Mike Gayle that I ordered
>go to my high school reunion next week
