June flew by. It has both a busy and a relaxed air to it. And though summer started out a tad bit disappointing I still have high hopes for the rest of the season. Here's a list of what happened this month though!
- I threw my cat slippers out. The soles were all worn and I kept spraining my ankle. They were much loved though!
- My owl collection gained a very special new member.
- And you were given the chance to win one of Olga's owls too.
- I went to a knitting picnic!
- And learned two new knitting skills: lace and entrelac
- Interviewed the lovely Eline.
- Made some popsicles.
- Bought some lovely books.
- Sent and received some PIF goodies! More on those soon.
- Also, the guys from And The Giraffe released a brand new single.
sounds like a good month to me! save the spraining ankle part.
ReplyDeleteah yes, cats. i'm sitting 3 of them presently (all black) and they keep playing this strange rotating hide-and-seek game with me, 'cause i never see more than one at any given time. it's so maddening! but i'll win them over. eventually. i'm optimistic. :-)
ReplyDeleteAw the cat slippers look so cute, no wonder they have been well-worn!
ReplyDeleteAw, those were teh cutest slippers ever.
ReplyDeletelove the slippers - i'm glad they saw a long and happy life!
ReplyDeletea knitting picnic, you say? that sounds just lovely...although it might have to be an indoor picnic round here, the temperatures have been so crazy! (+100 Fahrenheit!)
i'm a knitter too, and the lace and entrelac work i've seen looks amazing! always wanted to give it a try, but i've been shying away from it so far because it looks quite complicated! that's awesome that you're able to do it!
Aw, poor slippers. They look like they were loved though. It sounds like you had quite the month to me :]
ReplyDeleteOMG! Those cat slippers are heaven! I can imagine how hard it must have been to get rid of them!
ReplyDeleteI love the slippers. I'm sad you had to throw them out. Now I'm desperate to find a pair!
