It is not an understatement to say a lot happened this year. I did lots of things I didn't even dream of the year before. Let's take a look at some of the highlights!
- I went to Singapore! You can catch up on that adventure here.
- Made some lovely new friends, both on and offline.
- Found a new place to live.
- Knitted a few wonderful big projects with some new techniques (most of which I have yet to show you).
- Started learning needle felting, slide guitar and tarot.
- Became even more aware and passionate about environmental issues and going "green".
- Realised I wanted to read more. And I did.
- My music posts made place for Circle Songs.
- The blog had it's 3rd anniversary and it's 600th GFC and even 700th (combined) follower!
What were your favorite things of 2012?
Great reflection! I posted my list of things I did in 2012 here: http://www.maryhassound.com/2012/12/things-i-did-in-2012.html
ReplyDeleteLoved reading your list of things you've done this year, I've always wanted to learn to needle felt, it's such an amazing way of creating gorgeous little cutenessess *totally a real word*. I guess my big thing was 2012 was the year I learnt that being on my own isn't scary, it's fun!

By the way, can I have your new address? I have a little something I'd like to send you.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great year! I'm very excited to see your knitting projects, especially as I have just started taking my very first steps towards learning to knit (i.e. had my first lesson from my mum!)
ReplyDeleteOne of my favourite things about 2012 has been learning a lot about sewing and crafting, and having those things as a more integrated part of my life.
Lots of achievements...I hope you have many more to come!! Happy New Year x
