To be honest I never really enjoyed Jennifer Aniston(not even in Friends), I never really hated her either, but I just wasn't drawn to her at all. One movie recently showed me how terribly wrong I was though. And that was Love Happens.
I figured that such a mainstream movie with mainstream actors wouldn't really be all that special. But it was a lot more profound than I could've guessed. In fact I was very pleasantly surprised!
It even made me quite fond of Jennifer! I might even go and see more of her movies... Any recommendations?
I saw a commercial for this awhile back and wasn't sure how I felt about it. If I ever come across it I will have to check it out. I don't watch a ton of movies, so sorry I can't recommend any others with her in it.
ReplyDeleteI really liked this movie, too! ;) When I lived in Argentina, I used to spend a night at a hotel in the countryside every week. Each of those nights I prepared a special blog post within my hotel room. A few times, inspired by this very movie, I hid positive messages behind the hotel pictures, hehe.
ReplyDeleteI recommend The Good Girl; Jennifer Aniston's character is completely different from all the other ones she's done. Plus, you get to see a funny (and young) Zooey Deschanel.
Hope you have a great weekend! ;D
Oooh, I'd love to see this. Your posts always make me want to go to the cinema but I manage it so rarely at the moment! Maybe when I'm in LA at the end of the month - it's the land of the movies after all :)
ReplyDeleteI kind of liked Rachel/Jennifer in Friends, but only after we bought all the box sets and watched the whole thing from the beginning. In fact I think the first episode is maybe my favourite! I liked the messed-up Rachel :)
I'm not too much of a fan either, but maybe you've persuaded me! Plus, that van is so cool, surely it's worth seeing just for that! I want one!!!

I really liked this movie too. Also loved that it was a Seattle movie, where I am from. I typically don't like Jennifer either until this movie. I recently saw her in Just Go With It that new Adam Sandler movie and liked her in that.
